Came here for a hearty breakfast with the family on Labor Day. Even by 2pm, we're still too full for lunch. You can't go wrong with this place. Forgo your normal trips to Denny's or Norm's and come to a cozy mom-n-pop place to get good food! Amazing staff that always makes you feel warm and fuzzy all over.

The food is good and the crew was amazing at refilling my coffee when I came here for breakfast with my kids. The highlight was when one of the waitresses spent her own dollar to win my daughter a prize from one of the claw machines at the front. Julie, the waitress, was such a sweetheart to do that.

I kept hearing about Mae's but it wasn't nearby me. But I finally made it!! It was everything I'd been told. Excellent Service! Our waitress was Sally. She was very friendly & had great suggestions. The food was delicious & great portions. Ambiance felt like a Happy Family. Can't wait to go back! Thank you

This cafe is the best! I got seated quickly, and the fish, and chips don't tell me. It's very good! I love the interior, and plus it feels like quiet!

Old fashioned cafe with casual atmosphere. Nothing fancy. Good food with specials available to help your wallet. Friendly and fast service . Used to be open late , but with Covid and the economy operating hours were cut back. Still can get the John Wayne special.

For me this will always be a go breakfast spot for the classic diner experience! I worked near this restaurant and was my favorite breakfast. Today I had their egg Benedict with hash browns! It was so good! And the hash browns cooked to perfection crispy and not overdone! Service was good never had an empty coffee cup. And the ambience is of a classic diner!

Mae's Cafe use to be open 24 hours and I've been here at 2am before but now it closes, which is fine post pandemic. It's basically a fancy local Denny's with some interesting food options. The restaurant looks like a classic american diner on the inside and a bar and booths. It was mostly families present when we went so it's a nice local place to relax and have some comfort food. I had the Tijuana Scramble which was good and cheesy and definitely filling for the price but it didn't have chorizo so keep that in mind. My friend got the T-bone steak and it looked good and was also filling. The portions here are very good but don't expect exceptional food. I really like the hash browns and would highly recommend them if you go here. Overall, I'd recommend it if you want breakfast or a late night meal but do consider other options if you're looking for more of a gourmet experience.
